We invite you to a place where you can grow stronger in your faith, surrounded by . . .

Fellowship. Love. Caring. Sharing. And Laughter.

Our Mission

Our mission at Shepherd of the Mountains is to carry on Christ's mission into the world, loving our neighbors and serving all we meet as we join with other Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregations in proclaiming the Gospel to the people of Pinetop-Lakeside and Show Low, to the rest of Arizona and the United States, and to the ends of the earth.

Our New Pastor

Pastor Michael ("Mick") Mathews is excited about the new opportunity God has given him to serve another community and another group of God’s people as the pastor of Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church.

If you happen to miss a service or would like to read previous sermons, we have a collection of sermons available for you.

Online Giving

Always have a willing hand to help someone, you might be the only one that does.

Thank You Pastor Kaiser

We gratefully thank our friend and outgoing Pastor, David Kaiser, for his volunteering to serve us for the past year and a half. We wish him and Chris a happy retirement and look forward to seeing them in church each week.

Please Note

If you have not previously participated in Holy Communion here at Shepherd of the Mountains and wish to do so, please first introduce yourself to our Pastor or one of our elders in order that all those who will commune together and who will share the one bread and the one cup may be assured that we share, as well, the same confession and understanding.
